In June 2008 Developing Minds Software won first place in the University of Colorado Denver Bard Center for Entrepreneurship's seventh Annual Business Plan Competition, and an accompanying ten thousand dollar prize.

DDtrac is used to meet the data collection requirements of federally mandated programs, such as the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Additionally, E Parent states that DDtrac provides applied behavior analysis (ABA) specialists with the ability to understand long term changes that are difficult to see without electronic data collection.
DDtrac Mobile
DDtrac Mobile is a hosted, subscription-based software product used to collect data on the educational progress of special needs students on Internet-connected mobile devices.
